As both a nurse and a mother of a child with a disability, I have firsthand experience with the fear and uncertainty that comes from entrusting others to care for our loved ones. This profound understanding has driven me to establish my own business in disability support work, where I am committed to ensuring the highest level of care for some of the most vulnerable individuals in our community.

My journey into advocacy began with a workshop in 2019, and over the past few years, I have engaged in various efforts to promote change. Through these experiences, I recognized the need for a disability support service grounded in safety, compassion, inclusion, and collaboration with our clients. I believe that this approach is essential for creating a brighter future and enhancing the quality of care for those we serve.

A key aspiration for my son—and one that resonates deeply with many of our caregivers and participants—is for him to experience a life filled with independence and choice. I envision him actively participating in the workforce, engaging in daily activities, and being acknowledged as a valued member of society. It is crucial to me that he receives the same respect as everyone else, but above all, I hope he finds true happiness and lives a fulfilling life that instills a sense of pride.
